Nelson, averaged 10/- bag, and local up to 14/6 bag of about 6()lbs.

Pukekohc new potatoes, 5/- to 5/6 sugar bag. Otaki new potatoes, 8/- to 9/6 cwt. sack. Nelson asparagus was in demand at Bd. to 9d. single bunch. Lettuces were sought after, and good heads made 3d. each; small crates, 3/6, large crates 5/6 to 9/6 according to crispness and size. Carrots are very plentiful, but good prices still maintain for new season’s at s|d. t.o Bd. single bunch ; parsnips, new season's, 6d._; new season’s swedes. 4id. bunch; spinach, 5/6 crate; broad beans, 3/- to 7/- crate; old potatoes, 7/- sack.
