Treasury Office Changes Two senior officers of the city treasurer’s department of the Wellington City Corporation are to retire on superannuation at the end of next month. These are Mr. James Ames, accountant, with 40 years’ service, and Mr. Forbes Johnston, chief clerk of the rates office, witli 38 years’ service. Mr. Amos will be succeeded by Mr. A. W. Milburn, and Mr. Johnston by Mr. S. M. Youmans.
