WORKERS’ COMPLAINT

Arbitration Court and Basic Wage Bv Telegraph— Association. Napier, November 16. A meeting of the Napier branch of the General Labourers’ Union passed a resolution expressing the opinion that the workers would never receive justice from the present personnel of the Arbitration Court and calling on the Government to give effect to the spirit of recent legislation. It .was contended that the basic wages, £3/16/- and £l/16/-, were too low, and it was suggested that Mr. A. L. Monteith (workers’ nominee on the court) be replaced.
