XIOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that at a Special Meeting of the Wellington City Council held on Monday, the 2nd November. 193 G. lite following resolution was passed .'—That the Wellington City Council, pursuant to the provisions of The Local Bodies Loans Act, .1926, and its amendments and The Municipal Corporations Act, 1933, and in pursuance of an Order-in-Council dated the 19th day of August, 1936, gazetted in the New Zealand Gazette, No. 56, of the 27th day of August. 193 G. at page 1640, as varied by an Order-in-Council dated the 14th day of October, 1936, gazetted iu the New Zealand Gazette, No. 69, of the 22ml day of October 1936, at page 1909, and in pursuance and exercise of every other Act and authority in that behalf it enabling. doth hereby resolve by way of Special Order as follows:— 1. That a special Loan of Twenty-nine thousand four hundred pounds (£29,400), to be known us “The Wellington City Sanitation Loan Repayment Loan, 1937," be raised by the Welling!on City Council for the purpose of repaying the Wellington City Sanitation Loan, 1907, Repayment Loan, 1932, which matures on the 28th day of February. 1937. (2) That' the rate of interest on the Wellington City Sanitation Loan Repayment Loan, 1937, be not exceeding Three pounds reu shillings (£3/10/-) per centum per annum. payable half-yearly, on the 31st day of August uiid the 28th day of February in each year during the currency of the loan being a period of Twenty (20) years from the 28th day of February. 1937. 3. That the Council makes the said loan of Twenty-nine thousand four hundred pounds (£29.400) repayable by forty (40) half-yearly instalments of One thousand two hundred and sixty-eight pounds and threepence (£1268/0/3) each (being part principal and part interest at the rate of Three pounds ten shillings (£3/10/-) per centum per annum), the first of such instalments being payable on the 31st day of August. 1937. and the last on the 28th day of February, 1957. and that firt.v (40) debentures be issued accordingly. 4. That the security for the interest, principal and other charges and repayment of the Wellington City Sanitation Loan Repayment Loan, 1937, be a special rate of Thirty eight-hundredths of a penny (30-800 d. iu the pound on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of nil rateable property within the whole of the City of Wellington. AND NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the resolution will be submitted for confirmation at an Ordinary Meeting of the Wellington Citv Coun-il to be hold on Monday, the 7th December, 1936, nt the Council Chamber, Town Hall.
