Rome, November 11. Anxiety over the Pope’s health increased to-night when intimates of the household reluctantly admitted that he has scarcely been able to walk for several days. ’ The staff, although saying his condition is not serious, are redoubling their precautions to save him every possible expenditure of energy. Despite his disability the Pope insists on continuing his dally audiences.
