Interim Dividend Higher New Zealand Breweries. Limited, yesterday advised the Stock Exchange Association that tiie directors have decided to pay an interim dividend for the 'half-year ended September 30, 1936, at I lie rate of 4 per cent., payable on December 9. The transfer books of tiie company will be closed from Wednesday. November 25, to Tuesday. December 8, both days inclusive. The dividend represents an increase of 4 per cent., compared with the interim dividend paid on December 14. 1935. The final dividend paid on .Tune 11 last was 4 per cent, for the six months, making a total distribution of 74 per cent., comparefl with 7 per cent. In previous years. NORTH KALGURLI (1912) LTD. Interim Dividend Payable North Kalgurli (1912), Limited, yesterday cabled the Stock Exchange Association that advice had been received from the London office of the company that an interim dividend on account of 1936 profits of ninepencc per share sterling, less 3/- in the £ English income tax, will be paid on December 28 to all shareholders registered on November 27. Transfer books will be closed from November 27 to December 4, both days inclusive.
