KNOCKED DOWN BY VAN

Small Girl Injured at

Lower Hutt

When she was knocked down by a motor-van in Gracefleld Road, Lower Hutt, at 9.20 a.m. yesterday, a three-year-old child, Lorraine Cullen, Gracefield Road, received a fractured collarbone, extensive scalp wounds and abrasions, concussion and shock, which necessitated her admission to hospital.

The van which was driven by Air, Norman Croft, Wai-iti Avenue. Lower Hutt., was travelling southward along Gracelield Road in tlie vicinity of Hie quarry when he noticed two small girls playing on the road. While lie was watching them Lorraine Cullen came on lo the road from the side and was knocked down. The Free Ambulance attended to the ease.
