One of the largest stock dividends in the history of American industry was declared by rhe Gulf Oil Corporation, which will distribute 113.45(1.000 dol lars at par value of its shares, doubling the company's capitalisation The value of the new stock at current market prices is approximately 500,000,000 dollars'
