MARRIAGE REVEALED

A United Press Agency copyright story says that the marriage of Charles Chaplin and Paulette Goddard was confirmed by Randolph Churchill, who says: “I am not at liberty to quote Chaplin directly, hut can definitely say they were married by the captain of Chaplin's yacht Panacea, on June 23. 1934. Roth have definite reasons for maintaining secrecy. Miss Goddard told me that she wished to win film fame on he r own account, not as the bride of a notable.”
