Wellington Club Open

Thirty rinks have entered so far for the Wellington Bowling Club’s golden jubilee open rink tournament on November 19. including entries from Blenheim, Christchurch and Wanganui. The names of the skips are as follows: —Wellington: Jennings. F. Ross, J. Porteous, Stonebanks, T. T. Skoglund, MeKclvie, F. Spiller. Parton, Foot. O’Donnell. A. B. Duff, I’. Skoglund. Gooder. Christchurch : MacDougall. Wanganui: Crawford. Lyall Bay: Conder. Brackenridge, Reid. Hutt: E. J. Hill, I-ladwin. Khandallah: F. Porteous. Victoria: Tucker, S. Ingram. Hataitai: Wellings. Thorndon : M. Casey, Horwood; Seatoun: Stone. Kelburn : Gray. Blenheim: InnesJones. Newtown : Barker. Two ex-Wellington club members will be included in the Blenheim rink, Archdeacon Innes-Jones and Capt. McArthur (•ex-club president), now of Picton. Valuable trophies will he presented by Mr. H. G. Mayer, president, to the winning rink and runner-up rink.
