FOUR IN HOSPITAL
Head-on Collision Near
Hastings
WOMEN SERIOUSLY HURT

Four people were admitted to hospital to-day following a head-on collision near the Tomoana showgrounds. They are:—
Miss Gertrude Smith (Napier), serious head injuries. Miss Noeline Wilton (Hastings), serious head injuries. William Goodall (Hastings), cut on the forehead.
Robert Ward (Hastings), bruisesand abrasions.
The victims were all in one car, which swerved to avoid some cyclists and collided with a car coming in the opposite direction. Ilotli cars were badly damaged.
