Lord Rotherniere Urges Aid For British Ships

London, October 22
Lord Rothermere. chief proprietor of the “Daily Mail.” cabling that newspaper from Hong-Kong, urges assistance for British shipping to compete with rhe faster German and Japanese vessels. He suggests that British 25knof liners and 15-knot cargo steamers should have the Suez Canal dues returned from the British income on Snez Canal shares.
He adds that unless British shipping is aided the Chinese and Japanese markets will disappear within five years
