Increases in Postal Receipts

(British Official Wireless.) Rugby, October 21.

’The steady progress of national recovery is well illustrated by the postal receipts, which with three exceptions only have been higher than in the corresponding months a year earlier for each month since the end of 1932. The increase in September, compared with September, 1935, was 5.1 per eent., and the three preceding months each showed an increase of 5.2 per cent, com pared with the corresponding month of last tear.
