Ellis Parker and his sou, indicted in April with the kidnapping of Paul Wendei, surrendered to-day, under bench warrants, to the Federal authorities. According to the charge, Parker, jun., and his accomplices assaulted Wendel at New York, kidnapped him. and held him prisoner. while he was transported to New Jersey.

The case developed in startling fashion when Ellis Parker, jun., eluded the police. He is alleged to have determined to avoid indictment on the kidnapping charge. New Jersey officials have curtly ordered Ellis Parker to arrest his son on sight.
