SERVICE TO EDUCATION

When she retired last month from the position of assistant at the Miramar South School, Miss H. C. Nelson had completed 32} years of service. Her teaching service included a brief stay at Walton, in the Auckland district, and from 1916 to 1922 she was assistant at the Forbury School, after which she was appointed to Miramar South. The Wellington Education Board decided to place on record its deep appreciation of her very valuable services rendered in the cause of education.
