Returning home recently after a holiday, Mr. Baldie, Chief Constable of Kirk caldy, Fife, found that his house had been entered. The intruder had appar ently slept in one of the beds aud then left in a suit of clothes and a pair of boots belonging to the chief constable, leaving his own discarded clothes behind.
