Waipukurau Notes Waipukurau, September 20. At the meeting!of the Central Hawke’s Bay Power Board at Waipukurau on Friday, the board decided that in future the guarantees for .country areas should be based on the line and not individually. The rate of guarantee on the 10 years’ guarantee lines was reduced to 15 per cent, on the capital cost in place of IS per cent, as prevailed before. Ready for Coronation. The Central Hawke’s Bay Electric Power Board has authorised its engineer to report on the question of a special coloured lighting display during the coronation. Te Aute Old Boys. A Te Aute Old Boys’ Association has been formed. In order to keep in touch with the association, members of the Te Aute College staff have been placed on the committee, the members of which are: Mr. E. G. Loten, Rev. J. Hogg, Messrs. C. Follick and W. Ngata. Other members of the committee are: Messrs. I. Dixon, Puru Logan, H. Hutana, 11. M. Tatere, C. Ellison, and ,T. Mapu,; students representatives. Messrs. H. Northcroft, J. Tanahori, and J. Wilson.
