BRITISH SAILORS’ SOCIETY

A most enjoyable evening was given recently at the rooms of the British Sailors’ Society to a large and enthusiastic audience of seamen and friends. The programme was arranged by Mrs. O Sullivan and consisted of songs, elocutionary numbers, and items by the Continental Harmonica Band, under, the managership of Mr. C. T. Jupp. A short community sing was much enjoyed by the men. Items were contributed by Misses Mary and Teresa O’Sullivan, Messrs. M. Rolf inson, R. McNeilly, E. Wright. H. Jenkins, R. Dunn, C. Jupp, W. McKillop, E. Edmonds, B. Lambert, D. Pettit, M. Doyle and Master Paul O’Sullivan.
