Latest Refrigerator Equipment i British Official Wireless.) (Received September 18. 5.5 p.m.) Rugby, September 17. The refrigerated motor-ship Brisbane Star, of 12,000 tons, built for the -Blue Star Line, was launched yesterday at Caramel, Laird’s yard, Birkenhead. The vessel is 522 feet long and 72 feet in the beam. In the past 10 years the Blue Star Line has built 19 steamers at a cost of over £7.000,000.
The chairman of the company said that th e Brisbane Star represented the last word in refrigerator equipment and would set a new standard. He added that he could see definite signs of recovery for the shipping industry
