Bradford Tops Market
By Telegraph—Press Assn.— Copyright. London, September 17. The Bradford tops market is quiet. Merino tops have an easier tendency but crossbreds have a hardening tendency. Yarns are quiet though crossbreds are still wanted. Later quotations compare with those previously cabled as follows. —
Wright, Stephenson and Co., Ltd., and Abraham and Williams, Ltd., received cable advice from their Bradford agent us follows:—Merino tops are }<l. down, but crossbred tops are from Jd to Jd up. In consequence there is very little business in merinos and a fair amount of business in crossbreds. Top-makers are prepared to allow concessions in merinos., owing to the prolonged quietness of business.
