Hitler and Limitation of Army
Paris, September 16. Herr Hitler is reported to have told M. Bastid, - French Minister of Commerce, as he was visiting Berlin, that he is willing to limit the German army if France' will terminate the Soviet Pact. A later message, however, states that it is officially denied that Herr Hitler offered to limit the German army on condition that France abandoned the Franco-Soviet Pact.
