CLOTHING CAUGHT IN MACHINERY

Labourer Badly Injured Severe injuries were received by Mr. W. Ewen Taylor, a labourer, of 141 Cuba Street, Petone, when his clothing became caught in the shafting of the machinery at Lowe's foundry, Lower Hutt, yesterday afternoon. Mr. Taylor’s right shoulder was dislocated, his left arm fractured and in addition he received abrasions to his face and body. After receiving medical attention he was removed to hospital where his condition, though serious, is reported to be satisfactory.
