MANNEQUIN PARADE AT LYCEUM CLUB

Something novel in the way of entertainment was given at the Lyceum Club yesterday afternoon, when a mannequin parade was staged by a club member for the purpose of augmenting the furnishing fund. Many members and visitors filled the pleasant, sunlit blue rooms to watch the display, which consisted of spring and summer gowns, including linen suits, silk costumes, hostess and evening gowns, finishing with a beautiful bridal group. Added interest was lent to the occasion by several club members helping as mannequins. A piano solo by Miss Lawrenson, and afternoon tea, concluded a thoroughly enjoyable afternoon.
