Due at Auckland Next Thursday ■. - The New Zealand Shipping Company has received a radio message from its liner Remuera, stating that she expects to arrive at Auckland at daylight, next Thursday. The Remuera Jett Newport, in Britain, on August.. 18. She brings cargo for discharge at Auckland and Wellington, to the Federal Company’s agency. RANGITANE TO COMPLETE. The New Zealand Shipping Company’s motor-liner Rangltane is now to leavfe Wellington to-day for Auckland to complete Homeward loading. She is scheduled to sail finally next Thursday for Loudon, via the Panama Canal THE CANADIAN SCOTTISH. The steamer Canadian Scottish, discharging cargo from Montreal, is due at Wellington to-day from Auckland, and will berth at Fryatt Quay. She will sail again next Tuesday to complete at Lyttelton and Dunedin. NARBADA DELAYED. . The Union Company’s chartered steamer Narbada is now to leave Wellington today for Lyttelton, Timaru, Dunedin and Bluff, thence Singapore and Calcutta. FREIGHTER CAPE HORN. The Union trans-Paciflc freighter Cape Horn, which arrived at Auckland last Sunday from Los Angeles and the Pacific Coast, is expected at Wellington to-day. She is to sail again on Monday for Lyttelton, Dunedin. Bluff and Australia. She will berth at the Taranaki St., Wharf. LIMERICK LEAVES. The Union Company’s trans-Paciflc steamer Limerick left YVelllngton yesterday for New Plymouth, Lyttelton. .Dunedin and Australia. TANKER JOHN KNUDSEN. The tanker John Knudsen, discharging oil from Palembang. for the Vacuum Oil Company, is expected at Wellington tomorrow from Auckland. This Is her final port of discharge. TAMAROA THIS MORNING. The Shaw, Savill steamer Tamaroa is due at Wellington this morning from Auckland, and will berth at Plpitea Wharf to complete discharge bt her London cargo. She will leave again on YVednesday to begin Homeward loading at Lyttelton. TANKER KALMAI. The tanker Kalmai is due at Auckland about Sunday from Singapore with a full cargo of motor-spirit for the Shell Qll Company. She will discharge all her cargo at Auckland. " HERTFORD BEGINS LOADING. The Federal Company's Hertford, now at Bluff, is to complete discharge of her. Liverpool cargo there, and begin loading Homeward. Her subsequent ports, in order of rotation, are Lyttelton. Savill freighter Zealandic is to leave Auckland to-day for London. Avonmouth. Liverpool and Glasgow, via Cape Horn and Las Palmas. LONDON SHIPPING. During the week ended July 24, 1059 vessels, representing, 1,131,186 net register tons, used the port of, London. Of these 61a vessels (921,018 net register tops) were to and from Empire and foreign ports and 444 vessels (210,168 net register tons) were engaged in coastwise traffic. The arrivals included six meat cargoes, viz., two from Australia, three from New Zealand and one from South America, comprising 281,000 carcases of lamb and mutton, 79,000 quarters of beef, quantities of pork, rabbits and sundries. During the week ended July 31. 1008 vessels, representing 1,000.403 net register tons, used the Port ot London. Of these 551 vessels (817.296 net register tons) were to and from Empire and foreign ports and 457 vessels (183,107 net register .tons) were engaged in coastwise traffic. The arrivals included nine meat cargoes, viz., four from Australia, two from New Zealand and three from South America, comprising 361.000 carcases of lamb and mutton. 179.000 quavers ot beef, quantities ot pork, rabbits and sundries.
