“LOVERS’ LEAP"
Thespians at Wanganui Wanganui, September 13. , Sparkling with wit and with a brand of raciness which delighted the enthusiastic audience, the. Wellington Thespians who travelled to Wanganui on Saturday and played “Lovers’ Leap” were givfen a wonderful reception.' The Opera House wag packed and the crowd which sought an entertaining evening was more than satisfied. Mr. Victor S. Lloyd was the producer, and although the stage did not lend itself exactly to the requirements demanded by the play, the appointments were skilfully blended as necessity demanded. The cast was: Helen Storer, Sinclair Breen ; Poynter. Selwyn Toogood; Sarah Traille, Marjorie Murray; Cedric Norreys, Myles F. E. WrightJ Roger Storer, T. V. Anson. At the conclusion of -the performance, Mr. Lloyd said he could not let. the occasion pass -without- deeply - thanking . Wanganui people, particularly Messrs. Cuthbertson and Lee, for helping him with stage properties. This he appreciated exceedingly. The Wellington players were later the guests of the Wanganui Repertory Society and members at a supper party.
