TIGER MATED WITH LION
The London Zoo hopes to breed a “tigon.” A young tiger, born at Whipsnade, and a year-old lioness are to be mated for the experiment. Only one tiger-lion hybrid lias been shown previously at the Zoo. It was bred by the Jam Sahib of Nawangar in 1921, and lived for 10 years. .
