Dr. Malcolm Sargent Arrives By Telegraph—Press Association. Auckland, August 3. Expressing pleasure at his first sight of New Zealand, Dr. Malcolm Sargent, conductor of the London Philharmonic Orchestra, arrived by the Aorangi today; In response to an invitation from the Wellington Choral Society and the New Zealand Broadcasting Board he will conduct three performances at Wellington. Later lie will proceed to Australia to conduct fourteen performances.
