Accidents in Wellington

A severe lacerated wound in the forehead was received by Mr. H. Meyer, of Johnsonville, dairy-farmer, when he was knocked down by a tramcar near 464 a Adelaide Road about 12.30 p.m. yesterday. The injured man was removed to hospital by the Free Ambulance. J. Thompson, of 6 Hobson Street, a labourer, received a fractured nose when he was struck by a flying winch handle at the Miramar Wharf at 10.40 a.m. yesterday. He was taken to hospital by the Free Ambulance. Herbert Paul, of 50 Boulcott Street, was taken to hospital with a lacerated wound under the chin and abrasions to the face, received ae a result of a fall at 72a Manners Street yesterday.
