An injury to the right foot was received by J. Martin, a mechanic, of 20 Hobson Street, through falling from a step-ladder shortly before 11 a.m. on Saturday. After receiving medical attention he was taken to hospital by the Free Ambulance. Nearly 14.000 detachment members of the British Red Cross Society are qualified in air raid precautions. This subject is now included in the regular training of all the society’s Voluntary Aid Detachments.
