AUSTRALIAN TRADE

Union Cargo Service

The following are the movements of Union Company vessels engaged in i intercolonial cargo service:— The Kaikorai, from Newcastle, lore Stephens, Sydney and Port Kambla, is due at Auckland next Thursday. The Kaimlro is expected to leave Grejmouth to-morrow for Melbourne and Adelaide. She will load at Adelaide about the middle of August and completes at Melbourne for Auckland and Napier. The Kairanga, from Edithburg and Adelaide, is to leave Melbourne to-day for New Plymouth, Auckland. Wellington and Lyttelton. . The Kahvarra was to have left Napier on Saturday for Newcastle. She will load there about August 7 and completes at Port Stephens and Sydney for Wellington and Napier. The Kalingo is to load at Newcastle today and completes at Sydney for New Plymouth, Plcton and Wanganui. The Karetu is to load at Newcastle tomorrow and completes at Sydney and Hobart for Bluff, Dunedin, Timaru, Lyttelton and Oamaru.

The Kiwitea is now to leave Wellington to-day for Napier and Portland to complete discharge of her cargo from Melbourne, Edithburg and Adelaide. The Waikouaiti. from Newcastle, Port Kembla and Sydney, is to berth at Bluff to-morrow; thence to Dunedin, Timaru and Lyttelton to complete discharge. She will then return via Bluff to Sydney and Newcastle.

The W’aipahi is to leave Auckland next Friday for Suva to load for Auckland, thence to Suva and Sydney. The Waitaki Is to leave Wellington today and Bluff on Wednesday for Melbourne. She will leave Melbourne again on August 12 for Bluff, Dunedin, Lyttelton and Wellington.
