THEFT AND FRAUD
Man Sent Back to Prison Dominion Special Service, AA’anganui, July 27. Stating that accused, had eight previous convictions for false pretences, one for obtaining credit by fraud, one for obstructing the police, and one for breach, of probation, Mr. J. H. Salmon, S.M., in. the Magistrate’s Court. AVanganui, today sentenced Albert Frederick Clarke, charged with the theft of £1 from a letter and with obtaining credit by fraud for board in Wanganui, to three months’ imprisonment on the first charge and one month on the second, the sentences to be concurrent. Detective Murray said accused had just finished a sentence of three months for fraud.
