It shows the complete process from cedar logs to a multitude of textiles for apparel and furnishings. The exhibitor, the Nitto Spinning Company, produces 30 tons of staple fibre daily and is negotiating for a 10,000,000-yen plant to double its output a year hence. The Foreign Office confirms that Japan and Australia have agreed to reopen trade negotiations on the basis ot existing Customs conditions.
