Lawrie’s Rink Retains Badges TWO DEAD-HEATS FOR FERNS A full muster of bowlers turned up at the winter green in the Easter Show buildings on Saturday afternoon. In a game for the indoor badges, Lawrie’s rink managed to retain them after a good battle. The scores were:—Molders; Billings, Ricketts, Hart, Lawrie (s.), 25; challengers: Sargent, Mason, Earnshaw, Jones (s.), 23. the friendly rink games resulted as follows:—

The New Zealanders’ Association tournament advanced a further stage last week, three games in the post sections play being decided. The following are the results: Martin Beat Lock. 19-18’ Glen beat Wells. 23-13; Duncan beat Woolley. 22-19. This leaves Martin and Dunean with two lives, and Lock, Glen and Wells with one life each. Woolley is eliminated. The following is the draw for the next round to be played next Wednesday: Duncan plays Glen; Lock plays Wells; Martin, a bye.
