PLANE CARRIES PATIENT TO HOSPITAL

Auckland, July 25. A patient was brought to Auckland from the north by aeroplane this morning for admission to a private hospital. The Auckland Aero Club’s cabin monoplane was chartered and the pilot, Mr. D. M. Allan, was accompanied by Mr. S. E. Langstone, secretary-manager of the St. John Ambulance Association. The patient, who is 75 years of age, was picked up at Cooper's Beach. Mangonui. and brought to Maugere, the trip occupying ninety minutes.
