Nevis Diesel Electric The secretary of the Nevis Diesel Electric Dredging Co., Ltd., advises that Messrs. Milburn and Co., of Auckland, have exercised their option over the whole of the company's assets. The Cromwell Hydro-Electric Dredging Ltd., which has been formed to take over these assets, and work additional ground in the Nevis Valley, has adopted the agreements with Milburn and Co. The terms of the sale are: £BOO payable on July 31. 1936; £l2OO on October 31. 1936; £lOOO, January 31, 1937; £lOOO, April 30. 1937. The balance of the purchase money, £ll,OOO, is to be secured by a debenture over all the Nevis Diesel Company’s assets, for a term- of two years, and bearing interest at 5 per cent, per annum. The. Nevis Diesel Electric Dredging Co., Ltd., had nlso the right to appoint a director to the board of the new company, and Mr. George Thompson, of Dunedin, has taken his seat, and will represent the Nevis Diesel interests.
