NEW POWER-BOAT TROPHY
Evans Bay Yacht Club PrizeGiving An interesting aud valuable addition to the Evans Bay Yacht and Motor Boat Club’s array of trophies is the Moult Challenge Cup, presented by Mr. R. Moult, owner of the speed-boat Baby Taubman, which approached a mile-a-minute speed on Wellington harbour last season. The new trophy is to be held by the power-boat, attaining the highest speed ou Wellington harbour each seasou. Trophies won last season in Evans Bay will lie presented at the prize-giving dance to bo held in the clubhouse on Wednesday evening. For many yeans past the prize-giving dance has been the club’s big social event of the year, and there is every reason to believe that Wednesday's celebration will be equally successful. The trophies, including the Moult Challenge Cup, are at present on show in Kenner's window, Manners Street.
