SUSPENSION LIFTED
4 English Boxing Promoter London, July 22. Following settlement of the New Zealand boxer Maurice Strickland’s claim, the Boxing Board of Control has removed its suspension off the promoter, Mr. Jeff Dickson.
A cable dated July 14 stated that the Boxing Board had suspended Mr. Dickson indefinitely without explanation. According to the “Daily Mail" the suspension followed Strickland's complaint alleging non-payment of £25. which was due to him as forfeit for a match arranged but not staged between himself and the Finnish heavyweight Gunner Barlund.
