WEDDING

Reynolds—-McGregor The wedding was solemnised at St. Andrews Presbyterian Church, Marton, recently of Molly Catherine, third oaughter of Mrs. and the late Mr Evan McGregor, Turakina Valley, and Keith Ernest, eldest son of . the late Mi.- and Mrs. A. J. Reynolds, formerlv of Wairarapa. The Rev. C. W. Watt, Turakina, officiated at the ceremony The bride, who left for the church from the residence of Dr. W. S. R. Dick, was given away by' her eldest brother. She wor t a graceful gown

of parchment velvet, slightly trained, with eowl neck caught at each side with a diamante clip. The long, tightfitting ’sleeves were buttoned from shoulder to elbow. She wore an embroidered tulle veil lent by a friend, and carried a bouquet of rhododendrons, roses, and pink cherry blossom, which was later sent to Masterton, the bridegroom’s grandmother, who was unable to be preseut.

The bride was attended by her sister Jessie, who wore a velvet and lace frock in a soft shade of green. She also wore a halo of the same material, aud carried a bouquet of camellias, and pink heath. The bouquets were made by Mrs. B. P, Lethbridge, auut of the bride.

The bridegroom’s brother, Mr. Douglas Reynolds was best man, and Messrs. E. J. McGregor and H. Reynolds were ushers.

After the ceremony, afternoon tea was served at St. Andrew’s Hall, where Mrs. McGregor, assisted by the bridegroom’s stepmother, received the guests. Mrs. McGregor wore a navy ensemble with hat to tone, and Mrs. Reynolds was dressed in brown.

The bride travelled in a wine coloured jumper suit with bat aud coat to match.

Loose covers get soiled where the arius rest. Make a square jusit to fit the soiled part, fix it with press studs, take off when soiled, wash and replace. This saves washing the whole cover.
