Wellington Market Quiet PRICES GENERALLY STEADY Prices were steady yesterday on the Wellington Stock Exchange, but in no section was the demand very strong. Business was fairly good, the recorded turnover being about the same as on tbe three previous days. . . Dealings were confined mainly, to industrial and trading issues, which sold at late market rates. Banks were not in favour, the only recorded sale being Commercial of Australia at 18/J. Bulolo Gold Production •Mr. Fred G. Duun, attorney for Clutha Development, Limited, advises of the following production report:—For month of June the 'total gross production amounted to 15,682 ounces of bullion containing 11,065 ounces of fine gold from 1,002,000 cubic yards. Estimated working profit, 7472 ounces of fine gold. The above production is equivalent to £90,818 15/-. and working profit to £65,380, on the basis of £B/15/- (Aust.) per fine ounce of gold.
