First prize of £5OO in the Military Art Union was won by W. Jenkins, Takaka, Nelson province, with ticket No. 46067. The art union was drawn tonight. • , , Second prize of £lOO was won by “Daring Deed,” lan Cullen, and third prize of £5O by “Maybe,” Christchurch. The art union, for which the prize money was £lOOO, divided into 08 prizes, was organised to collect fund, for territorial units in the Soutlr Island and the Christchurch branch of the Returned Soldiers’ Association. The profits will be about £ll5O.
