A clergyman mimed Jordan had a son attending college. The son was about to lake Ills final examinations, ami naturally, the father asked the boy to let him know as soon as possible how he got on. One day he received n telegram which read —“Hymn 254. verse 5, last 2 lines." Turning up the reference in the hymnbook. this is whnt he rend:— "Sorrow vanquished, labour ended, Jordan passed.’’
