The Nawab of Pataudi,’who is going to England this month, and, if his health permits, will again play for Worcestershire, is about the only English, batsman who has only scored five centuries for his county, and yet on four occasions has passed the 200 mark. He has scored 231 not out against Essex, 224 not out against Kent. 222 against Somerset, 123' against Glamorgan, and 214 not out against Glamorgan.
