NEXT WEEK’S WRESTLING

Wellington wrestling enthusiasts share with others of their kind a partiality for aggressive action, and it wotdd be difficult to find two men better able to cater for such tastes than “Lofty” Blontficld and Jack Forsgren, who are to m->et in the King’s Birthday attraction at the Town Hall on Tuesday night. Blomfield and Forsgrcn, two b : g and powerful men, have progressed far in the wrestling game because they have the ability to succeed against high-class opposition, and also because the tactics they employ make them popular with their audiences, and consequently much in demand among promoting organisations. They do not mind whether tlie going is rough or smooth, in fact the rougher it is the better they seem to like it, but no matter what the circumstances they never fail to give bright and entertaining displays. Forsgren has vowed his intention of wiping off former defeats at the hands of the New Zealander, and those who have seen demonstrations of IPs ability will realise that lie is fully capable of doing so. Blomfield, on the other hand, is rapidly placing himself in line for n challenge match with McCready for the British Empire title, and will lose no opportunity of advanc ng his claims. There will be amateur preliminaries.
