Wet Night on Ranges

Wet through after spending the night in the rain in the Kaimanawa Ranges, the two prisoners who escaped last night from the Hautu prison camp near Tokaanu were recaptured by two warders in the ranges this morning. The fugitives, John Booth Prohl, aged 26, and Richard de Thierry, aged 23, were tracked by tlie warders, who found thein. 20 miles from the camp. They offered no resistance.
