Arrangements for the visit to Auckland of a representative team, to play there on the King's Birthday, were completed at last night's meeting of the Wellington Rugby League. The team will leave by the Limited express on Sunday, returning from Auckland on Tuesday evening. Mr. V. M. Simpson, chairman, presided, other members present Wing Messrs. G. O’Learv, secretary, IT Buckland, E. J. Elliot, Dale, Harkness, and W. P. Cummings, organiser. On the King's Birthday a Town versus Country match will be played on Newtown Park, and also a curtain-raiser. The hoard expressed its deepest sym-p.-iDy with the widow and family of the late Mr. J. Leech, a member of the referees' appointment, board. Mr. Leech was an untiring worker and great enthusiast of the league code, and his death is a distinct, loss to the Rugby league game in Wellington. Fixtures for Saturday. Senior A: St. George v. Hutt, Newtown Park, 3 p.m., Mr. Holmes; Petone v. Central. Rugby League Park, Petone, 3 p.m., Air. Childs. Reserve grade: St. George v. Hutt; A, Newtown Park. 1.45 p.m., Mr. -Saulsbury; Petone v.
