In the doubles in the Davis Cup match Yugoslavia v. Austria, in the semi-final of the European zone, Baworowski and von Metaxa (Austria) defeated Kukeljevic and Mitic (Yugoslavia), 4-6, 6-3, 6-4, 4-6, 6-2. Yugoslavia now leads by two matches to one.
