BUTTER MARKETING
Project For Conference
Loudon, June 8.
The Australian Minister of Commerce, Dr. Earle Page, upon his return from Denmark informed the Australian Associated Press agency that discussions with the Danish Foreign Minister, Dr. P. It. Munch, showed that Australian and Danish butter interests 1 are reconcilable. Dr. Pago unofficially discussed a project for a meeting of the Australian, New Zealand, and Danish Butter Boards following completion of the Anglo-Australian marketing conferences, with the object of au understanding concerning the regulation of butter marketing. Dr. Page stated that if this is achieved it will mean improved prices to the producers in the countries concerned, while creating stable prices for the consumers. Opportunity may be taken to open the discussions when representatives of Danish butter interests visit England within the next fortnight
