A record for successive frosts has been ’broken for Pukekohe, Auckland, and the surrounding district, nine hav Ing occurred without Interruption. Life long residents of the district cannot recall a similar occurrence, and it is many years since more than three frosts 'were experienced at Pukekohe in succession. A long-standing record of oi"ht .successive frosts at Wuiuku also has been broken.
