FIVE O’CLOCK PARTY

Soft shades of mauve iu asters and irises were effectively used for decoration at 46 Rawhiti Terrace yesterday, when the Misses Joan and Valmai Maudsley entertained a number of their friends at a very pleasant and cheerful five o’clock party. Cocktails and tempting savouries were handed round in the liviug-room and den. which, with the dividing doors thrown open, made one spacious room. Miss Joan Maudsley wore a floral georgette frock in brown and green tonings, and Miss Valmai Maudsley also chose a floral patterned frock with a navy background.
