Play will start at 0.15 a.m. Whakatiki Ladies’ Club A match between the Whakatiki and Karori ladies’ clubs last week-end resulted in a win for Karori. The following are the results, the Whakatiki players mentioned drat: — Fourbails: Miss Whiteman and Mrs. Wilkie and Miss Hargreaves and Miss Dixon, all square; Mrs. Harper and Mrs. Keys lost to Miss Kissell and Mrs. Dykes, 5-4, Singles: Miss Whiteman beat Miss Hargreaves, 2 and 1; Mrs. Wilkie lost to Miss Dixon. 5 and 3; Mrs. Harper lost to Mips Kissell, 3 and 2; Mrs. Keys beat Mrs. Dyke, 2 up. The committee will meet at the clubhouse on Saturday at 3.45 p.m. Rangimarie Club A 12-hole medal round played on the Rangimarie links on Saturday resulted in a tie between S. Ellis and Al. Hedstrom, both doing 4C net. Next came G. Petley and A. .Tackson, with 47 not, A medal round on Sunday resulted In a tie between I. Strickland. 78-7-71, and N. Johnson, 95-24-71. J. Brennan, 98-24-74, and P. Manoy. 99-24-75, came next. Next Saturday a Stableford bogey will be hold, and on Sunday a fourbaH bogey. On Sunday afternoon, at 1 o'clock, the well-known professionals. A. .T. Shaw and N. H. Fuller, will play T. Strickland and J. Tunnail in an exhibition match over 18 holes. The first round of the captain’s trophy must bp played by Sunday next.
